Olympus E-M10 Mark II is here to win all hearts

The very first models of the Olympus E-M10 sold over a million models owing to its low pricing, smaller size and specifications with some of the best world-class features. The Olympus E-M10 runs on a Micro Four Thirds format, which is highly criticised among experts for making use of a much smaller sensor than standard DSLRs and mirror-less cameras, but these experts fail to understand that small sized Olympus E-M10 with the highly efficient and compact Micro Four Thirds lens offer great performance, compared to other models of a similar format.

The older Olympus E-M10 models will still be sold in the market, but Olympus will soon be launching the brand new E-M10 Mark II, which guarantees to be a perfect choice for people with a smaller budget.

We will now look at the most important functions of the Olympus E-M10 Mark II. Read on to find out more.

Image stabilisation

The image stabilisation system is perhaps the biggest update in the brand new Olympus E-M10 Mark II. The predecessor of the model came with a simple yet effective 3 axis image stabilising system. But it has proven beyond any doubt that the all new Olympus E-M10 Mark II and its 5 axis image stabilization system is much more effective than all other models under Olympus. The shutter speed has been enhanced from 3.5 to 4 stops, which is quite astounding. The increase may seem like quite little, yet the increase in itself allows photographers to capture a much wider range of subjects amidst various shooting conditions.

The new Olympus E-M10 Mark II also comes with a fully enhanced high power view finder, with an enhanced capacity of 2360K dots. The E-M10 is set apart from all its rivals simply due to this high powered view finder, and most of these rivals only come with rear screen options without any view finder – so you can understand, that it is an easy competition.

Olympus also claims that the focusing feature has also been improved in terms of performance, with the frame rate being increased from 8 to 8.5 FPS for continuous shots. The company has also made it a point to add a number of new frame rates for the purpose of introducing features like movie mode, and the all new 4K time lapse shooting mode, which is an extremely interesting thing in itself.
