Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Vs Oneplus 2 Vs iPhone 6 Plus – Let The Battle Begin

With the recent launch of the all new OnePlus 2, the company has set goals to leave all other competitors like Samsung, LG and Apple far behind. But can they do such a thing?

The phone which is called as the flagship killer for the year 2016, the phone is now a player in perhaps the most competitive technological market and experts predict that the OnePlus 2 will be offering some serious competition to handsets like the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, LG G4, and many others. Now we will look at a comparison of specs between three big players currently fighting for authority in the market – the OnePlus 2, Apple iPhone 6 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. Read on to find out more.

Display and Screen Resolution

The OnePlus 2 comes with an LCD display screen of 5.5 inches, which supports a high definition screen resolution at 401 ppi, amounting to almost 1920×1080 pixels. The rumored QHD technology has not been used on the phone. The iPhone 6 Plus’s display is a 4.7 inch backlit LED display with the pixel count going up to 1334×750 pixels, which is an admirable screen resolution. This resolution is supported at 326 ppi, and the screen has oleophobic coating with ion strengthened glass. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge however comes with 5.1 inch screen that supports a high QHD resolution of about 2560×1440 pixels. The screen is Super AMOLDED and the resolution is supported at 577 ppi, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

RAM, Graphics, Processor

Buyers can get the OnePlus 2 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64 bit octa core processor, that is supported by Adreno 430 graphics processor and 4GB of RAM. Similarly, Apple fanatics can get the iPhone 6 Plus with just a standard Apple A8 processor, which is only supported by 1 GB RAM and quad core graphics processor by the name of PowerVR GX6450. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge on the other hand comes with their very own octa core processor, namely the Exynos 7420, which is powered by a Mali T760MP8 graphics processor and 3GB RAM.

Storage space

Users can get the OnePlus 2 in 16 GB and 64 GB in built storage variants, but does not come with an option to expand the memory with an external memory card. People planning on buying the iPhone 6 Plus will be able to choose from 16, 64 and 128 GB variants, and also with no external memory card options. In case of the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, buyers can choose from either the 32 GB variant, or the 64 GB variant, or even a 128 GB variant. This handset is also devoid of any external memory card support.

Camera and Battery

The OnePlus 2 comes with 13 mega pixel back camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and a powerful 3300 mAh battery. The iPhone 6 Plus comes with 8 mega pixel back camera, 1.2 mega pixel front camera and a disappointing 1810 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge sports a 16 mega pixel back camera, 5 mega pixel front camera and 2550 mAh battery. So OnePlus wins the race here.

Guys for me all in all, the OnePlus 2 is better in almost every way, i.e., in terms of specs and also that of price. So you should definitely go for it.
