Virtual reality makes object comes to life

Virtual Reality (VR) is an immersive multimedia effect or may be stated as computer-simulated life which duplicates an environment that imitates a physical presence in particular places in the real or imagined world and the user can communicate with that world. Virtual reality is an upcoming technology. This VR with the help of computer hardware and software makes users feel the Virtual Environment (VE). It was originally designed to conceive the user as a digitally created space which humans can access with the help of special computer equipments. The Virtual reality can artificially create sensory experiences like sight, hearing, touch, smell, taste, and many more. This enables human to deal with information more smoothly.

The Virtual reality (VR) creates a three-dimensional world around the user. This helps the user to interact with objects, people, and environments. The computers create the virtual environment that helps to design the three dimension images which supports the audio device. The audio is inputted with the help of computer and the content is modified accordingly the user input, usually by head or eye movements.

Virtual reality environments focus on real sound with the help of speakers or headphones. This are either displayed on a computer screen or with special stereoscopic displays with some sensory information which targets the VR users. This Virtual environment user uses special gloves, earphones, and goggles, which send their output to the computer systems. Generally the virtual environments are made to replace the real world environment with the digital effect along with the human senses which are built VE. Based on different computer platform the Virtual environment can created from a cell phone screen to a desktop monitor.

Virtual reality also includes remote communication environments which enhance the virtual presence of users. The concepts of tele-presence and tele-existence or a virtual artefact (VA) comes into existence in this environment by standard input devices such as a keyboard and mouse, or by a multimodal device like wired glove or omnidirectional treadmills. In order to create a lifelike experience the simulated environment can be similarly to it.

The VR is highly recommended in training the combat of military. It helps the new recruits to train them under a controlled environment where they have to face the reality of a war field. The environment is designed accordingly.  The VR allows to train the professionals in a virtual environment where they can rehearse their skills and improve them without the consequence of failing the operation. This type of virtual reality uses Head-mounted display (HMD), data suits, data glove, and VR weapon to train these combat.

The Air force also uses this technology of virtual reality to train their pilots. The simulator who directs sit on top of a hydraulic lift system that gives inputs to the user along with the events. When the training session of a pilot is designed the environment is set accordingly the facts.

Not only this, these virtual reality technology has also been used in video games which can be designed with graphics, sound and input technology.
