MY ACTIVITY is similar to your Facebook timeline, which gives a clear picture of your activities online. The collection of data could go back years, depending on when you started using Google. The page can be accessed from myactivity.google.com from any browser you want. For security measures, you will have to enter your Google password once. After you have logged in, you will see a list in chronological order of all your Google and Youtube activities. You can always use the Privacy Controls on Google to block the collection of information, but in case you have not done so, this is the place where you will find all the answers.
MY ACTIVITY has many uses. If you want to find a piece of information you were looking for weeks back, you can check the chronological records to find out exactly what you were looking for. But this use is only limited. In most cases, MY ACTIVITY can be a source of embarrassment for you.
You can quite easily delete all the stored data and activity to make Google forget all your embarrassing searches.
It is extremely easy to erase your browsing history from MY ACTIVITY. You need to first locate the record you wish to erase from your activity list. The search bar provided on the activity page should make things a lot easier for, if you want to delete repeated entries of the same Google search. When you have located the search history record, find 3 DOTS at the end of the sentence and click on it to open a drop down menu. Choose the DELETE option from this menu, and it will be deleted forever.
If you want to delete all your search history in bulk, then that can be done as well. The same three dot menu option can be found at the very top right hand side corner of the timeline. Click on the menu and select the DELETE ACTIVITY BY option and select a proper date range to delete the records bulk. To empty your search history, select the ALL TIME option and you are all set.
